Meet Riotech’s DTMF

The RioTech DTMF device gives capability to remotely operate up to four independent circuits. The RT-DTMF uses a screen driven interface for changing all radio and operational settings. Whether it be remote preempt starts, crossing starts, or operation of lights and gates, let the RT-DTMF control your world.

Black RioTech DTMF device with LED indicators and control buttons. Features include "VOL UP," "VOL DOWN," "BACK," "ENTER," and LEDs for "HEALTH," "DCD," "TONE," "PLAY," "CH. 1-4," "FAULT," "TX," and "RX." USB port, speaker, mic, and navigation arrows are also visible.
  • Built-in Isolation – The DTMF Box incorporates an AREMA compliant DC-DC converter to isolate the radio from the powering battery

  • Screen and User Interface – Easy to use interface allows users to change any of the operating parameters of the RT-DTMF. Parameters include radio frequency, radio transmit power, activation / deactivation codes, audio responses, channel timeout values, channel output polarities, and more!

  • Optional Expansion Serial Port – Use this to interface with external devices such as the RioTech Remote Monitoring Device (RMD) to record all DTMF radio traffic and activations of the RT-DTMF.

  • 4 Controllable Circuits – The RT-DTMF supports 4 independent channels driving dry relay contacts to give remote control of up to 4 independent circuits. Each channel can be activated / deactivated via up to 8 digit codes and incorporates a selectable timeout to automatically deactivate upon timeout.

  • Built-in Microphone & Speaker – Key up and communicate over the radio network using the RT-DTMF’s built-in microphone.

  • Status LEDs – Status LEDs indicate unit health, faults, radio channel active, DTMF tone received, on board PTT, audio chip playback, and channel statuses.

  • Audio Confirmation Responses – The user selectable audio confirmation responses enable the RT-DTMF to key up the radio and reply with a verbal response to confirm the RT-DTMF has made a state change. The RT-DTMF can respond when channels activate, deactivate, or timeout. The DTMF Box will only respond whenever there is no active traffic on the radio. Build a custom audio response via the user interface and preprogrammed audio files, or load custom recorded audio files for a more customized audio response.

  • Fault Sensing – Output sensing on control relays to detect faulted relay contacts.
