Meet Riotech’s x-SPI
x-SPI is a device that allows for traffic signal preemption through the use of an isolated RS-422/485 connection. The x-SPI system monitors the preemption status of the railroad crossing then transmits the information to compatible traffic controllers using the IEEE 1570 protocol.
Utilizes vital 1570-2002 IEEE standard for the Interface between the Rail Subsystem and the Highway Subsystem at a Highway Rail Intersection
4- wire preemption interconnection between railroad and traffic signal
USB port for easy data management and firmware updates
Supports Advance Pedestrian Preemption
Supports Traffic Signal Status and Track Clearance outputs for railroad monitoring
Mappable system inputs
Supports remote preempt starts from station stops near crossings
B-1 relay mounting style
Supports up to 4 tracks
Integrated GPS for accurate local timekeeping
Menu-driven OLED display with easy-to-use interface
AREMA compliant
